What is a buckwheat husk pillow?
A buckwheat husk pillow is filled with the outer shells of buckwheat seeds. The husks are light and you can add or remove filling to find the height and firmness you like. Ours is made of three parts: a white cotton inner casing with a zip, a 230g bag of organic buckwheat husks, and a removable outer casing in your chosen fabric.
Can I add a name to the pillow?
Yes. Choose Classic Style with the name on the main fabric, or Signature Style with a contrasting name panel. Names can be up to 12 characters including spaces, and extra characters cost $3. Pick a handwriting, plain or cursive font and your thread colour.
How do I order?
Design your pillow in the design tool, then tap “Copy My Order”. Send it to us in one of two ways: Instagram DM (paste your copied order into the chat with @cudbeans) or WhatsApp (your order details are filled in for you). We confirm fabric availability with you, as some fabrics may sell out.
Can I order more than one pillow?
Yes. You can add more than one pillow to a single order in the design tool. Orders of $80 and above get 5% off (courier and delivery charges not included).
Is the outer casing washable?
Yes, the outer casing is removable and washable.
How much does it cost?
Outer casings start at $15. Buckwheat husks and the inner casing are $10 each or $15 as a bundle, and add-ons such as a gift box ($4) and greeting card ($1) are extra. Orders of $80 and above get 5% off (courier and delivery charges not included). See the full price menu.
How do collection and delivery work?
Self-collection is free, Mon–Fri 8am–8pm in the Punggol area and Sat 11am–4pm in the Woodlands area. SingPost SmartPac delivery is $3 (without a gift box), and courier is $5 per address (with or without a gift box), both taking 2–3 days. See contact for more.

Cuddle Beans is a Singapore-made buckwheat husk baby pillow brand created for newborn comfort and meaningful gifting. Inspired by the traditional husk pillow, each handmade pillow can be customised with your choice of fabric and your baby's name, and you can adjust the filling to suit your little one.
Many families who use the traditional husk pillow believe its gentle weight helps a baby feel secure and be less easily startled in sleep. This is a long-held family tradition, not a medical claim. Our husks are washed, sun-dried and hand-picked, and make a natural, breathable filling.

Is this a maternity pillow?
Our pillows are compact, about 36 × 16 cm, so they are not full-length maternity pillow body pillows. They make a thoughtful gift for expecting mums and new mums too, who may already know the traditional husk pillow that many families believe helps a baby feel settled in sleep.
